Per the History of Saugus, 163 Saugus citizens served as enlisted men in the Civil War, including eight who served in the Navy. |
Over 100 Saugus citizens were members of the first company of Lynn Minutemen, who fought at the Battle of Bunker Hill. The History of Saugus, available on-line through the Northeast Massachusetts Digital Library lists those who fought in this battle. |
